In Central America and Africa the altitude at which the
coffee is grown determines the grade or quality of the
coffee. These types of coffees are free from chemical
sprays and grow relatively slowly. The coffee grown
higher up the mountain possesses
more character and natural oil which gives the coffee
flavour. The best coffee’s have virtually no defects
which allows their bright fruit flavours inherent in the
oil to shine through unimpaired.
